A viral video showing motorists and passengers involved in a heated altercation sparked online discussion about the mounting stress brought on by the holiday traffic rush.
Miguel Echano captured the road rage moment involving several individuals at the Riverbanks avenue in Marikina City and shared his thoughts on how to handle this kind of situation.
In his viral Facebook post, he wrote, “I witnessed a road rage moment and honestly, gets ko talaga eh. Anlala ng traffic. Everyone's tired. Everyone wants to get home. Everyone feels like they've been waiting for hours.
“But this season is already heavy for a lot of people. Someone might be rushing to see family they barely get to spend time with. Someone might be late for work, stressed about money. Someone might be carrying grief, pressure, or just a really long day.
“The road doesn't know our stories, but the people on it are human too.”
