Maggie Wilson

Maggie Wilson alleges the orchestrated attack has something to do with her upcoming book.

Beauty queen and TV host Maggie Wilson noticed a disturbing pattern on the comment section of her Instagram account.

In a post where she updated her followers about the status of her upcoming book "The Confidence Blueprint," a wave of users left similar to downright identical comments on the post.

The comments imply that Maggie used generative artificial intelligence for the book and that she should upgrade her subscription so she can finally finish writing, that she has "ghosted" those who pre-ordered, or that the book is merely a photobook with quotations.

As of this writing, the comments remain on the comment section of her post.

Maggie reacted to the influx of what she alleges to be paid trolls on her social media accounts on another Instagram post.

"It seems the troll farms put in some serious overtime on my last post. Part of me wants to offer snacks. Commitment like that is almost impressive," she began.

"Ever since I announced the launch of my book, the fake accounts have suddenly reappeared and multiplied overnight. Someone out there is so terrified of a story they haven't even read that they actually hired people to flood my comments with nonsense. That level of fear must be exhausting. Truly," she continued.

Maggie also had a message for the individual or individuals who orchestrated this attack against her.

"To whoever is bankrolling this little operation: I genuinely hope you find peace. Because paying strangers to attack someone out of panic or insecurity isn't power, it's a plea for help. And honestly, I feel sorry for you," she wrote.

This is not the first time that she has experienced this kind of organized attacks online.

In 2023, Maggie alleged that a person or persons orchestrated a smear campaign against her and her business.

She noticed that several online influencers were following a very similar script and were even using the same screenshots and hashtags to create content that besmirched her reputation.

"I've been targeted by troll farms before, so this isn't new to me… and it definitely won't stop me. If anything, it confirms that my story matters. People who are afraid of the truth will do anything to silence it, even hide behind fake profiles and copy-paste comments. Thank you to everyone who sees through the noise," her post read.

Maggie assured her followers that nothing can stop her from releasing her book.

"The book is coming and no amount of bots can rewrite my truth. C'est la vie. Link in BIO to pre-order!" she ended her post.

Maggie announced that she was set to launch her first book, "The Confidence Blueprint" back in November.

Parts of the book will detail several highly-publicized parts of Maggie's life such as her foray into pageants, her marriage and its breakdown, and the legal battle which lead to her decision to leave the Philippines.

Based on the listing on Aurient, Maggie Wilson's "The Confidence Blueprint" will be out on December 16.
