Beauty queen Maggie Wilson is enjoying summer in Italy.

She had a fun little adventure as she tries to search for a known swimming location in Sardinia.

Maggie ended up in Dorgali with little pools of water surrounded by several rock formations. Aside from the clear water, the place was also quiet and secluded.

She had fun scaling the rocks and taking a dip in several pools with different sizes.

"Googled natural pools and this came up on an unnamed road. I read the “reviews” (which is something, I don't really do because I don't like to have a preconceived notion to a place over someone else's opinion because everyone has a different experience)," she shared on Instagram.

"However, it was in the middle of nowhere. Some reviews were bad, some were great and 3 of them were really helpful, detailing how to find the 'pools.' It wasn't actually where the pin was dropped but about two kilometres away," Maggie added.

Still, she channeled her adventurous spirit and soldiered on.

"I took a chance even if I had the wrong type of car and was wearing the wrong kind of shoes for a trek. I wasn't going to let any of that stop me from finding this spot. It was beautifully serene with no other soul in sight. Well worth it!" she said.

Maggie has been staying in a luxurious resort on Costa Smeralda in Sardinia, Italy. She has also visited Corsica in France and was traveling in Lisbon, Portugal.
