After the challenges Maggie Wilson faced, she is now on the path to healing.
After what she went through recently, Filipino-British model and former actress Maggie Wilson will be attending the Milan Fashion Week from September 23 to 29, 2025 with gratitude in her heart.
In a post on Instagram, Maggie admitted that she was in pieces and unsure whether she would “ever find light again” after what happened to her personal life. However, this year, the former beauty queen said that she will be going to the Milan Fashion Week “with gratitude overflowing in my heart not just because of where I am, but because of who carried me here.”
She then addressed the online community who has been supporting her and revealed that she reads every direct message (DM), comment, and note sent to her.
“Believe me when I say you picked me up from my darkest days. Your words gave me strength when I had none, your kindness reminded me that I wasn't alone, and your love became part of the glue that held me together,” Maggie said.
She added that her time in the prestigious fashion event was not her moment alone, but her moment together with them. Maggie also noted that attending fashion week is proof that resilience is possible, and that being broken does not last forever.
“Even through a screen, love can change a life. And if you are in a dark place right now, let my words be a reminder that light does return, and healing is possible. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Maggie xx,” she ended her post.
Meanwhile, in a separate post, Maggie shared that she had to start from scratch as resilience and perseverance are building her back up “brick by brick.”
“They tried to bury me, but they forgot I was the seed, and now I'm blooming again. Resilience may not always look cute, but it sure as hell looks good when it's serving results…” Maggie wrote.
It can be recalled that Maggie lost contact with her son, Connor, after separating from her husband, real estate mogul Victor Consunji. The former beauty queen's estranged partner then filed a petition to prevent her from seeing or talking with her son.
In 2024, Maggie revealed in a post that she had not seen or heard from her son for almost two years, noting how she had already missed several special occasions with him.
