When the lockdown happened back in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, taping schedules for many GMA shows were put to a halt, including the top-rating afternoon series, Magkaagaw.

And last January 18, the series made its triumphant return in the GMA Afternoon Prime block with its refresher episodes.

Now in full gear, get ready because Sunshine Dizon, Sheryl Cruz, Klea Pineda, and Jeric Gonzales are set to break hearts and bring tears to their viewers with fresh episodes!

The story picks up right after Clarisse [Klea Pineda] and Laura's [Sunshine Dizon] lives were put in danger due to Veron's [Sheryl Cruz] ploy to hide her affair with Jio [Jeric Gonzales].

Meanwhile, Jio is caught in a bind when it comes to his family and covering up his May-December love affair with his lover.

The mother-daughter tandem will also form an allegiance to defend their family against the manipulative ways of Veron.

The cast of Magkaagaw went on their lock-in taping last November 2020 to finish the show's story.

In an interview with the cast in early January, acclaimed actresses Sunshine Dizon and Sheryl Cruz shared that they're very excited for fans to get a glimpse of the fresh episodes.

Sunshine said, “Palagay ko, pressure-wise nasa audience na 'yun, e.

"Kumbaga, basta kami feeling ko naman ang pagbabalik ay matindi kaya aabangan naman talaga nila.”

Sheryl agreed with Sunshine and said, “I feel the same way as Ms. Dizon.

“We did our best, and it's just a matter of us waiting for it to air altogether. Mag-countdown na lang tayo at sa February 15 naman ay masisilayan n'yo na ang fresh episodes ng 'Magkaagaw.'

“We put it in God's hands kasi we already did our part as an actor and it's time na ipakita naman sa amin ng mga taga-suporta namin ang kanilang pagmamahal at suporta para sa show.”
