It’s difficult to stay quiet about things that we know.

In an interview with GMANetwork.com, Alessandra de Rossi emphasized that keeping mum could be quite a challenge, especially when the information you have access to weighs heavily.

“Mahirap 'yun ha, mahirap talaga manahimik,” she said.

That considered, Alessandra has so much respect for Sandy, the character she plays in Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real. Sandy knows that Anthony Real, played by Dingdong Dantes, is bigamous. Despite knowing that, Sandy chooses not to be the one to break the news to Anthony’s first wife Millette, who also happens to be her best friend.

“Minsan kasi, mas alam nung tao 'yung makakabuti para sa kanya eh. Hindi ikaw, hindi opinyon mo ang makakapagpabago ng buhay niya,” she explained.

Hard as it is, Sandy refuses to divulge what she knows, and rather allows Anthony to take matters in his own hands.

“As Sandy, as a friend, kahit ipit na ipit na siya, hindi niya sinasabi 'yung alam niya kasi nga siguro, somehow, kahit alam niyang makakatulong kay Millette, makakasira [naman] siya kay Anthony,” she noted.

One of the lessons Alessandra is learning from her character is the importance of assessing situations before acting on them.

“Siguro sa mga kaibigan, kunyare, meron kang natuklasan na secret, [kung] sinabi mo sa iba o shinare mo sa iba, [dapat] makakatulong ka instead na makasira. [Maka-contribute ka] in a good way, kumbaga,” she shared.
