Alden Richards' birthday surprise to Maine is the gift of time.

"Feeling ko hanggang next month, nandito yung kilig."

These were Maine Mendoza's words on Eat Bulaga earlier when Paolo Ballesteros, in the form of Lola Tinidora, asked her about her Boracay vacation.

She was genuinely surprised to see him there because Alden initially told her that he couldn’t make it to her birthday vacation.

"Nag-bonding lang kami ni Alden dun. Hindi ko kasi alam. Sabi kasi niya sa 'kin, 'di siya pupunta, Lunes pa lang. Tapos ayun po, bigla niya kong sinurprise dun," she said.

The actress-endorser confirmed that she got to spend time alone with her leading man.

"Nung una, kaming dalawa lang. 'Yung mga friends po namin, hindi po kami sinamahan. Nasa speedboat lang kami tapos nag-water activities so nakapag-bonding po talaga kami ni Tisoy," she added.

Maine only has good memories about the trip and shared that they kept laughing together.

"Marami po kaming videos saka pictures, tapos linoloko niya ko na kunyari malalaglag 'yung cellphone ko, tapos tawa lang kami ng tawa, ganun. Masaya po," she concluded.
