Maine Mendoza

"Kinilabutan ako pero hindi ako to!” says Maine Mendoza about malicious post being linked to her.

Maine Mendoza was shocked about a certain malicious post being linked to her on social media.

The Eat Bulaga host immediately clarified that she is not the woman in the now deleted post.

“Wtf???? Sobrang kamukha ko kinilabutan ako pero hindi ako to!” Maine posted on her Twitter account yesterday, December 22.

She reiterated this by sharing another post on Twitter Fleet, where she uploaded a photo of an unidentified woman and captioned the photo, “It's not me ok.”

Meanwhile, All Access to Artists Incorporated (Triple A) president Rams David issued a stern warning on Twitter about the matter.

Triple A is the talent arm managing the career of the Daddy's Gurl actress.

Rams posted a screenshot of the malicious post being linked to their popular talent and mentioned some provisions of Republic Act 10175 or The Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.

“RA 10175 punishes content-related offenses such as cybersex, child pornography and libel which may be committed through a computer system.

“It also penalizes unsolicited commercial communication or content that advertises or sells products or services. #kulong”

Loyal fans of the Phenomenal star also immediately showed their support for their idol and defended her from this disgusting effort to besmirch her reputation.

Many even reposted the words, “PROTECT MAINE MENDOZA AT ALL COSTS.”

Some even suggested that she should take legal action against those behind the ludicrous post.

Blooming love life

Despite this fake news, Maine has more reasons to smile this December since she and boyfriend Arjo Atayde mark their second anniversary together.

The couple even shared their cute selfies on their respective social media accounts.

In March 2019, Maine admitted her relationship Sylvia Sanchez's son.

Aside from her blossoming love life, 2020 is still a good year for Maine Mendoza, despite the disruption brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

She continues to host in Eat Bulaga and her Saturday night sitcom Daddy's Gurl with Bossing Vic Sotto is a top-rater.

In addition, Maine also released a new single "Parang Kailan Lang" under Universal Records.

Lastly, she and AlDub partner, Alden Richards, were introduced as the newest endorsers of the delivery app Toktok PH.

Maine and Alden became a phenomenal love team in 2015 via the hit segment "Kalyeserye" of Eat Bulaga.
