Manny Pacquiao surprised viewers when he led Team Philippines in Netflix's reality competition Physical: Asia.

However, the boxing champion had to exit the show midway through the season due to prior obligations. He was later replaced as team captain by Filipino-American athlete and competitive CrossFitter Justin Hernandez.

Other members of the Philippine team included rugby medalist Justin Coveney, strongman Ray Jefferson Querubin, and Olympic athlete Robyn Lauren Brown.

Team Philippines finished third in Group A, tying with South Korea. But the team got eliminated after losing the tiebreaker “sack throw” event.
