Manny Pacquiao

Manny Pacquiao stays humble despite all of his accomplishments.

In the latest episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho on December 4, Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao was able to give a short tour of his mansion in General Santos City before their scheduled sit-down interview.

The mansion has a main house, a beautiful garden, and a swimming pool where he says he and his family mostly hang out. Indeed, Manny has come a long way from his days of living on the streets.

But despite all that money and fame, Manny said that he doesn't have the right to brag about his accomplishments.

“Kung ano mang meron ako, wala akong karapatan magyabang. Ang ginagawa ko ngayon, mapasaya ko, matuwa ang Panginoon sa buhay ko na nakakatulong ako sa ibang tao,” he said.

And as a reminder to encourage himself to share his blessing, the Pinoy boxer had biblical verses pasted on the walls of his fence.

“Gusto ko lagi kong naaalala ang Panginoon. To encourage you and to watch you na hindi ka makaisip ng masama,” he said.

When asked about his recent campaign loss for the presidency, Manny admitted that he's used to losing. However, he admitted that he's been avoiding thinking about politics as he wants to focus on his family and their businesses for now.

He also talked about his scheduled exhibition match on December 11 where the benefits will go to the families affected by the war in Ukraine. “One hundred percent ang income nito, mapupunta sa Ukraine. 'Yung mga pamilya na naapektuhan ido-donate lahat doon ang kita,” he said.

As for his kababayans, Manny plans to give about 80 families houses and lots in his Pacman Village. He also revealed plans to put up the Manny Pacquiao Medical Center, a hospital which, according to him, will have designs to make it look like a hotel.
