Manon Bannerman of Katseye shared that she has recently had positive discussions with Hybe and Geffen Records, amid speculation she is leaving the group. This after she removed Katseye from her Instagram bio.
In a Weverse message on Thursday, Manon thanked fans for their constant support and concern during her break.
“I'm really grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time,” she said.
She also revealed that her recent conversations with Hybe and Geffen have been encouraging.
“HxG and I are having positive conversations and I feel supported. I'm happy and I'm healthy. I'll share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me,” Manon added.
Her statement comes as fans continue to speculate about her status in the group, especially after she was noticeably absent from recent promotional content for their upcoming single, "Pinky Up".
Back in February, Katseye announced that Manon would be taking a break “to focus on her health and wellbeing.”
She is scheduled to join Katseye for their performance at Coachella on April 10 and April 17.
Katseye debuted in 2023 and visited Manila in 2024 for a fan showcase, appearances, and collaborations.
They are known for songs such as "Gameboy," "Gnarly," "Gabriela," "Touch," and "Debut."
