Hit historical portal fantasy series Maria Clara at Ibarra can count prominent LA-based Filipino-American artist Eliseo Art Silva as one of its fans.
An avid viewer of the series, Silva has made multiple posts reviewing several aspects of the show which he finds interesting.
Most recently, he commended the show's 103rd episode which aired on February 22. The episode saw Barbie Forteza's character Klay return to her own world and ended with her saluting Jose Rizal's monument.
According to a post he made on Facebook, the episode drove home the point of why Rizal life's and works remain relevant to this day.
He also thanked GMA Network from bringing to life programs that stoke not only the viewers imagination but also their awareness of our identity as Filipinos.
