August 9, 2014 was a night of epic proportions for Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes. Understandably, the euphoria has not passed.

August 9, 2014 was no doubt an episode of epic proportions for Marian.

Viewers expected the Primetime Queen’s family, friends and love of her life to guest on Marian Rivera's show but they were not prepared to experience Dingdong Dantes proposing to Marian right then and there, and the sexiest dancing diva saying “Yes.”

After the show, the Royal Couple granted members of the press an interview.

Filled with raw feelings and tears of joy, it was a scene that was for the books.

There were tears in Dingdong’s eyes as he was proposing to the love of his life. How did he feel at that very moment?

“Sobrang saya eh, dahil mai-she-share mo kung ano ‘yung kaligayahan mo sa lahat ng tao. Hindi ko maipaliwanag,” he said.

For her part, Marian’s said: “Ang saya. Hindi ko na maipaliwanag. Parang nasa ulap lang talaga.”

The day after, Dingdong, in his Twitter account @iamdongdantes, posted: “Thank you to all the well wishers...you are all part of our love story. This is certainly one for the books. Life changing! Cheers!”

In her Instagram account @therealmarian, Marian posted a photo of her and Dingdong in Macau where he first proposed.

She also posted a photo of her engagement ring with the caption, “Hanggang ngayon e nasa alapaap pa rin ako, lalo sa na sinabi mong ako ang sagot sa yong mga dasal at gusto mong ipag sigawan sa mundo kung gaano mo ako kamahal... haaay mahal ko... Mahal na mahal din kita!"
