After completing a busy schedule filming their blockbuster movie Rewind last December and their sitcom Jose and Maria's Bonggang Villa 2.0, Kapuso Primetime couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes took the opportunity to spend quality time with their kids, Zia and Sixto, in America during the Holy Week.

To compensate for their absence during the previous holidays, the Kapuso couple decided to let their kids plan their fun vacation, granting all their wishes about where to go and what to do.

In an interview with Nelson Canlas for 24 Oras, Marian shared their enjoyable experience during the trip, which was dedicated to their children.

She said, "Nag-Disneyland kami, Sea World, Lego Land, yung talagang lahat para sa kanila. Sabi ko nga kay Dong yung mga ngiti nung dalawa noong pinapanood namin super priceless talaga nang super happy nila."

To fully spend quality family time together, Team Dantes limited their use of social media during the trip.

During the interview, the Kapuso couple also revealed how they strictly limit their kids' use of the internet and gadgets at home.

Dingdong shared that he only allows Zia to use devices for her studies, while their youngest doesn't use them yet.

"Si Zia lang kaya because of school. That's it. But other than that wala sila device. Dati meron pero tinanggal na namin dahil mas gusto namin na may limitation pagdating doon."

He also emphasized the importance of parents setting examples for their children, explaining that they avoid using gadgets to prevent the kids from being tempted to use them.

"Nagsisimula yan sa, siyempre, sa modeling sa amin mga magulang. So, kailangan makikita din nila na kapag magkakasama kami, halimbawa sa mesa, walang may hawak ng telepono para sila rin hindi sila ma-tempt diba gumamit ng ganun."

Now, back in the Philippines, both stars have resumed their active schedules in the show business.

Dingdong continues to host GMA's entertaining shows Amazing Earth and Family Feud.

Marian is thrilled to be back filming her hit prime series My Guardian Alien, alongside co-stars Gabby Concepcion, Gabby Eigenmann, Raphael Landicho, Kiray Celis, and Max Collins.

Receiving lots of love and support from fans, the Kapuso actress expressed her gratitude, "Excited ako every time na pupunta ako sa taping at tsaka pasasalamat ako sa magandang pagtangkilik ng mga manonood."
