Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera continues to receive recognition for her exceptional performance in the film 'Balota.'
Marian Rivera continues to show that she's one of the country's finest actresses as she bagged new acting awards.
The Kapuso Primetime Queen was hailed Best Actress by the Manila Film Critics Circle Awards and Gawad Parangal ng Bayaning Pilipino for her remarkable performance as Emmy in the film Balota.
Aside from this, Marian will receive the Dangal ng PASADO sa Natatanging Pagganap at the 27th Gawad PASADO Awards for her powerful performance in the same film.
Balota is also recognized as the Pinakapasadong Pelikula ng Taon by the award-giving body.
In August, the seasoned actress took home the Best Actress award from the 73rd Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards for her role as Emmy in Balota.
Directed by Kip Oebanda, Balota made its debut in the Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival 2024.
In August 2024, Balota emerged as one of the top box-office hits of Cinemalaya Bente and Marian was one of the recipients of the Best Actress award of Cinemalaya 2024.
