Marian Rivera charity work


Marian Rivera to share proceeds of her Flora Vida and Tribu Ni Yan to charity.

Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera shows the importance of giving back by donating proceeds of her flower shop Flora Vida to the native tribes in Mindanao.

During her Tadhana blog conference, Marian shared, “Masaya ako at nagulat ako na ganoon ang pag tangkilik ng mga tao. Ang ginawa ko naman ngayon, nagpagawa ako sa Mindanao ng mga vase na native.”

“So, bawat bili ng vase na 'yun may natulungan akong kababayan natin sa Mindanao. So, may mga ganoon ako,” she added.

The Kapuso actress has previously shared the proceeds of her products with locals of Romblon.

“Dati mga ceramics from Romblon at mga marble, ngayon naman para sa mga taga-Mindanao.”

She also continues to work with Smile Train, a global non-profit organization for children with cleft lips and palates.

Marian said, “Minsan 'yung proceeds nun kapag halimbawa birthday ko o may okasyon, lahat ng proceeds binibigay ko sa Smile Train.”

When asked if she still earns any profit from her business, Marian simply answered, “Okay na 'yun. Ang importante diyan masaya ka.”
