Congratulations, Marian Rivera!
Marian Rivera just bagged another award, further cementing her status as one of the country's most sought-after actresses.
The Kapuso Primetime Queen gained new recognition for her outstanding performance in the film Balota, where she portrayed the role of Teacher Emmy. Marian bagged the Best Actress award at the FAMAS Awards 2025.
On Facebook, GMA Pictures shared Marian's speech, who had just accepted her award.
"Isang malaking karangalan po ito sa akin. Sabi ko nga, hindi na po biro ngayon ang gumawa ng pelikula, talagang napakahirap pero pinapangarap natin na sana marami pa ring manood at tumangkilik ng mga Pelikulang Pilipino," she said.
She also thanked Cinemalaya for giving her the opportunity to portray a role she described as "makabuluhan sa lipunan."
Prior to this, the Kapuso Primetime Queen was also hailed as Best Actress at the 8th EDDYS Awards also for her performance in Balota.
