In celebration of Women's Month, Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera also has an inspiring message for fellow women.

This International Women's Month, Marian Rivera recently revealed the women who serve as her inspirations in life.

In an interview with the press during an event of the Palawan Group of Companies, where Marian was announced as the newest brand ambassador, she named the people whom she considers her role models.

“Lahat ng nakapalibot sa akin ay mabubuting mga kababaihan ay 'yung dahilan kung bakit siguro ako naging matatag ngayon. Ang dami, nanay ko, lola ko, Mommy ni Dong, Tita ni Dong, si Zia. Alam mo lahat sila na nasa paligid ko ay nagbibigay ng inspirasyon talaga sa akin,” she shared.

The award-winning TV-movie star also gave an inspiring message for her fellow women.

“Manatili kayong matatag, manatili kayong maganda, mahalin niyo 'yung sarili niyo at wag n'yong pababayaan kasi alam mo, at the end of the day, kailangan mahal muna natin nang buo 'yung sarili natin bago tayo magmahal ng iba,” she said.

Aside from this, Marian also gained a new recognition as she was hailed Best Actress at the 10th Southeast Asian Achievement Awards for her role in the film Balota, where she portrayed the character of Teacher Emmy.

During the event, the celebrity mom said that she feels overwhelmed with the continuous recognition that the said movie has been receiving.

“Na-o-overwhelm ako kasi parang akala ko last year natapos na pero habang itong taon na pumapasok ay mayroon pang dumadagdag na mga recognition kay Balota,” she said.
