Marian Rivera passed the torch to Anne Curtis as she presented her with the Preview Style Icon 2026 award at the star-studded Preview Ball on September 10.

Marian Rivera and Anne Curtis shared a special moment at the Preview Ball 2026 on Thursday, September 10, when Marian presented Anne with the Preview Style Icon 2026 award.

Held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Parañaque, the annual fashion event celebrated Preview's 31st anniversary with a "Deconstructed Fashion" theme, which challenged guests to reinterpret formal wear through unconventional silhouettes, layered details, unexpected proportions, and reworked tailoring. The event brought together some of the country's biggest names in entertainment and fashion, including Vice Ganda, Marian, Anne, Alden Richards, Michelle Dee, Kyline Alcantara, Pia Wurtzbach, and more.

For Marian and Anne, however, the evening had added significance. Marian made history in 2023 as Preview's inaugural Style Icon, making her the perfect choice to pass the distinction to this year's recipient. During the ceremony, Marian took the stage and officially presented Anne with the 2026 award.

The moment marked a stylish passing of the torch between two of the country's most recognizable fashion figures. Marian and Anne were later seen sharing a warm embrace as they celebrated the latter's recognition.

Anne, who is also one of the hosts of It's Showtime, embraced the night's deconstructed fashion theme with a look designed by Zip Ray Alexie. Speaking about her ensemble, she explained that its concept was inspired by an article discussing the "Erotic Appeal of a Ruin," which explores the idea of transformation.

"Basically, this dress is like peeling back all the layers of one's self," Anne explained in an interview with PEP.ph at the event. "So as you can see through the Chacol, there's like your true inner self, and then it's like you're deconstructing, and that's the beauty of a ruin."

Anne also shared that she was excited to celebrate another Preview Ball with her friends and fellow fashion personalities.

"I'm always excited to celebrate with Preview. I'm excited to see all the different outfits, to see my friends," she said. "So it's going to be a great night."

Marian, meanwhile, arrived at the ball in a richly embellished deconstructed mini dress featuring gold and burgundy details, with fringe adding movement to the look. She attended the event not only as a former Style Icon but also to support her longtime stylist and friend Melville C, who was included among the evening's Best Dressed.

Following the event, Marian took to Instagram Stories to congratulate Anne, sharing a photo of the two of them together and writing, "Congrats @annecurtissmith ❤️."

Marian was named Preview's first-ever Style Icon in 2023, while Anne received the distinction this year.
