Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera wins the Excellence in Performance award at the 4th Primetime Media Choice Awards.
Marian Rivera is undeniably one of the country's most sought-after and high caliber stars in show business because of her notable acting prowess.
The Kapuso Primetime Queen gained new recognition for her outstanding performance in the film Balota, where she portrayed the role as Teacher Emmy. Marian bagged the Excellence in Performance award at the 4th Primetime Media Choice Awards.
Prior to this, Marian was one of the recipients of the Best Actress award at the 3rd Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards and won the Best Actress award (Film) at the 2024 TAG Victorious Awards Chicago for the same movie.

Balota will be available for streaming on Netflix on January 31.
The said film, directed by Kip Oebanda, tells the story of a land-grabbing tycoon and a former male sexy actor who is locked in a tight race for the mayoral seat of a small town.
Emmy (Marian Rivera), a teacher who serves in the elections, runs into the wilderness to protect a ballot box, containing the last copy of the election results, when violence erupts in their town.
