Kapuso primetime queen Marian Rivera is finally back home following her impressive stint as part of the official selection committee to the 70th Miss Universe pageant. She proudly shares her once-in-a-lifetime experiences, not only as a judge but in having fulfilled a lifelong dream as well, visiting the Holy Land.
"Ito 'yung isa sa pinaka highlight ng buhay ko na nabigyan ako ng pagkakataon, tapos sa Israel pa na nakapaunta pa ko ng Jerusalem sabi ko 'Wow, Lord, salamat po talaga sa biyaya dahil sobra sobra,'" she said in her virtual homecoming interview on 24 Oras for Chika Minute.
As the entire Filipino nation the world over watched her take on Miss Universe as a judge, everyone looked out for Marian's every move especially her moments with her fellow judges.
"Sobrang grateful ko na makasama 'yung ibang kasama kong judges na napaka down to earth napaka humble na to the point na naging kaibigan ko sila," she said.
Certainly, her friendship with Bollywood superstar Urvashi Rautela was among her experiences that made massive rounds on social media.
Who would forget when Marian taught the Indian beauty her famous dance hit "Sabay Sabay Tayo."
"Sabi niya sa'kin, 'Can you teach me your dance step?' Sabi ko, 'what are you talking about?' [Urvashi said] 'Your Sabay Sabay.' So tawa ko ng tawa so nu'ng nasa stage kami sabi niya 'Let's dance,' [I said] Okay let's dance the Sabay Sabay tayo,'" she shared.
Most notably, the online world was set ablaze with the impressive show of love and support her husband, Kapuso primetime king Dingdong Dantes gave her throughout her entire journey as a judge.
Armed with professional camera equipment, Dingdong was her official photographer, videographer, escort, and at one point "water boy" which he at all did not mind.
Social media exploded with various reactions praising Dingdong for defining the real meaning of #husbandgoals.
In one post, Marian thanked her husband for everything he did for her in Israel.
"Pag-uwi mo ng Manila may reward ka pagluluto kita," Marian quipped.
Nonetheless, what melted Marian's heart the most is her children, Zia and Sixto's welcome surprise for her when she came back.
"Pagka surprise sigaw ng sigaw si Zia, 'Mom, mom you're here, you're here." Is this a dream? So nakakatuwa rin finally nakauwi na talaga ako," she said.
Weeks ago, Marian teased of being "honored" and "grateful" for a big blessing coming her way very soon. With her use of the crown emoji, and other clues that follow, eagle-eyed netizens were quick to quip that she might have a big part in the upcoming Miss Universe 2021.
Her official announcement came in and not long after she and her team, including Dingdong, jetted off to Israel for the pageant.
Marian impressed them with her stunning looks for the different pre-pageant activities. Her simple but ethereal pink Francis Libiran gown, however, that one she wore during the coronation night, is what killed it on social media. Netizens expressed how awe-struck they were at Marian's beauty.
As the country's bet, Beatrice Luigi Gomez, ended her Miss Universe journey in the Top 5, Marian quickly went up to her. She was quoted to have said to the Filipino audiences present at the venue that "Proud tayo kay Bea, di'ba?"
