Two talented artists from GMA Music were hailed winners in the recently concluded 36th Awit Awards.

In a report by Unang Balita, The Clash grand winner Mariane Osabel bagged the recognition for Best Performance by a New Female Recording Artist.

Mariane stated in her interview with Unang Hirit that she is thankful for the support of her GMA Music family.

The Kapuso diva said, “This is another achievement for me, thank you Lord! Thank you sa lahat ng supporters ko and of course GMA Music thank you, thank you so much for believing in my talent.”

Mariane is in the midst of preparing for the "Queendom: Live" concert happening on December 2 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Newport World Resorts, Pasay City.

She will be joined by Asia's Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose, Rita Daniela, Jessica Villarubin, Thea Astley, and Hannah Precillas.

Meanwhile, "Binabalewala" singer Anton Paras took home the People's Voice Favorite Male Artist recognition.

“Super blessed po and super thankful po ako kay God [and] sa family and friends ko. Of course, sa mga fans ko po diyan.” Anton said.
