Legal Wives actress Maricar de Mesa took to her YouTube channel to share a very special unboxing video.

Maricar revealed that she bought a past issue of men's magazine FHM, particularly the October 2002 issue where she appears on the cover.

While it was not the first time she posed for FHM, it was the first time she appeared on the cover of the magazine.

"'Yung first time ko na nag-pose for FHM, hindi ako cover. They just featured me. Nasa loob lang ako. I did a few shots for them. And then a few months later, they offered for me to be on the cover," Maricar recalled.

While Maricar has done a few sexy films, she admitted hesitating to do the shoot.

"Alam ko masaydong sexy 'pag sinabing FHM. It's sexy. I had to ask my manager at the time, tito Douglas Quijano, kung gagawin ko," she explained.

Fortunately, her manager encouraged her to do the shoot.

"Sabi niya, 'Yeah, why not? FHM is not just in the Philippines. It's all over the world and you're one of the first few na magko-cover dito sa Philippines,'" she shared.

Maricar then proceeded to show her viewers the pages that held her interview and a few more photos.

"After how many years, kasi wala na rin akong copy, ngayon ko lang makikita ulit itong laman ng FHM October 2002 issue na first-time ako on the cover," she declared.

Maricar marveled at her youth staring back at her from the photos taken almost two decades ago.

"Look at that. I look so young. Parang neneng nene, mukhang siopao 'yung face ko. Baby fats ba ang tawag diyan?" she exclaimed.

"Wow, look at that. So young. Para tuloy gusto ko ulit bumalik sa ganitong pagkabata," she added.

Maricar also recalled how the photographer for the shoot made her feel very comfortable.

"Parang naaalala ko pa, it was Xander Angeles [who was] my photographer here. Sobrang naging kumportable ako sa kanya. Hindi ako nailang. Pinagbigyan niya ko sa mga requests ko," she remembered.

Maricar is also looking for more old magazines that feature her on the cover.

"To anyone na baka mayroon kayong cover pa ko na magazine, especially 'yung mga Ginebra days ko--when I used to be the muse of Ginebra. I know I did a calendar for them, I think, in 2004. Can you please hit me up? Write your comments below. I'll get in touch with you guys. Sana kunin ko na lang or bilhin ko na lang. Benta n'yo na lang 'yan sa akin," she requested.

Maricar is part of the upcoming cultural drama series Legal Wives.

She will play Zobaida, the mother of Farrah who will be played by Bianca Umali.

Legal Wives tells the story of a unique Maranaw family where one man marries three different women for various reasons.

Aside from Maricar and Bianca, Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo, Alice Dixson, Andrea Torres, Cherie Gil, Al Tantay, Irma Adlawan, and many others will be part of the series.
