Mariel thanked everyone who prayed for her husband.
Action star-turned-senator Robin Padilla is on the road to recovery after undergoing a successful heart operation.
TV host Mariel Padilla shared on Instagram last Saturday (October 1) the current condition of her husband. She described the moment as a “roller coaster of emotion” for them.
She wrote, “We had a successful heart procedure... we are just so grateful and we are so blessed that Robin is okay. Thank you for your prayers.”
Mariel also expressed her gratitude to the doctors and medical team for taking good care of Robin.
“We want to thank our cardiologist Dr. Lopez and Dr. Javier, all the nurses, med tech, people from admission, and everyone in @asianhospitalph ofcourse Dr. Rodney Fernan and Dra Agnes del Rosario and nurses in @cardinalsantos big big thanks to @betchayvidanes and the OSRP staff praise God!!!”
Several celebrities sent their get-well wishes to the senator including Kuya Kim Atienza, Iza Calzado, Danica Sotto-Pingris, and Quezon city councilor Aiko Melendez.
