Veteran actress Maritoni Fernandez and her non-showbiz husband Mon Dayrit were among those who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in the city of Parañaque.
Maritoni shared a photo of her and her husband Mon waiting in line for the second dose of the vaccine, today, May 12
"In line for our second dose of the Sinovac vaccine. Thank you City of Parañaque. It is relaxed, organized and moves quickly. Aircon pa! Thank you Lord Jesus," she wrote.
An hour later, Maritoni shared a new set of photos featuring her and her husband posing with the medical personnel after receiving their shot.
"Shot #2 done! Thank you Jesus," her caption reads.
They got the first dose last April 14.
Maritoni and Mon are both in their 50s and are closely monitoring their health despite their healthy and active lifestyle.
Just a day ago, the actress shared a photo of them at a hospital as they wait to undergo routine medical check-ups.
"Not Covid! We just needed to get a baseline check up on our abdomen today which include our stomachs, pelvic, kidneys, liver, his prostate, my ovaries checked as requested by our doctors," Maritoni explained.
She also expressed her appreciation to medical frontliners in her post.
"We appreciate you and everyone like you so much. Frontliners are our heroes! God bless you and I hope and pray you are happy wherever you end up in your pursuits. Kung puwede lang na di n'yo na kailangan umalis ng Pinas for better opportunities!" she said.
