Mark Bautista lands the spotlight on a Vogue Philippines feature for his theater roles
Mark Bautista is on the pages of a fashion and lifestyle magazine.
With his impressive vocal range that won him standout performances in the London and Seattle runs of Here Lies Love, seasoned artist Mark Bautista marks his Sondheim debut as Rapunzel's Prince, and he talks about his experience as he graces the July/August 2025 cover of Vogue Philippines.
The All-Out Sundays mainstay dons a Joey Samson suit and poses below a chandelier adorned with flowers.
Mark is stepping into a magical new role as he becomes the latest star to join the Philippine production of Into The Woods.
Theatre Group Asia (TGA) confirmed that the Kapuso performer will portray Rapunzel's Prince in the beloved musical.
"I've never played the role of a prince before, so this is going to be exciting for me. Falling in love with a princess is quite interesting as well," Mark shared in an official statement.
"It's a musical with so many intriguing characters and loads of references and elements in the story," he said.
Joining him in the stellar cast are Eugene Domingo as Jack's Mother (from Jack and the Beanstalk), Lea Salonga as The Witch, and her child Nic Chien as Jack.
