Proud parents sina Mark Herras at Nicole Donesa sa academic achievements ng anak nilang si Corky

Naka-graduate with honors mula sa pre-school kamakailan si Corky at nakatanggap pa ng "Eager Beaver" award.

Magkasamang ipinagdiwang nina Mark at Nicole ang bagong milestone na ito ng kanilang panganay.

Sa kanyang Instagram account, ibinahagi ni Nicole ang ilang kuha mula sa graduation ni Corky.

Dagdag pa ng celebrity mom na hindi niya pinipressure ang mga anak na maging academic achievers, kaya malaking bonus daw para sa kanya ang mga awards ni Corky.

"If there's one thing I told myself that I would never do as a parent, it's raising my kids with the academic pressures that the children of our generation mentally face every day.

"I inspire my son to learn at his own pace and to never strive for his grades to be top tier and flawless. We inspire him to grow and make mistakes and to simply have fun in school…that it's okay to make mistakes. That failures are accepted and welcomed in this household. Because being the best learner is never defined by grades, but by simply listening to the teacher, following directions, making friends, always being present, and never giving up. One thing I taught Corky that I know I will never stop reminding him in the future is, “Malakas ka. Kaya mo yan, basta wag kang susuko. Laban lang ng laban. You don't need perfection, you just need to finish. Believe in yourself, and you'd be surprised at how much strength and power you have inside of you. Because a great learner is not about being number one. It's about that empowering moment in life where you look back one day and see how far you've come, and you suddenly have so much pride because you're so proud of yourself. Don't make your teacher or mommy and daddy proud, make yourself proud. Never give up until you can wholeheartedly say that you're proud of yourself. EXTRA NA LANG YAN kapag naka pag honors ka anak.”
