Mark Herras took to his Instagram Story to honor his late adoptive gay parents, Herminigildo Santos and Claudio Herras, Jr., on Father's Day, June 15.
The actor remembered his adoptive parents by visiting their joint grave. He simply wrote in the post, "Happy Father's Day, parents!"
Claudio, Jr., whom Mark fondly referred to as "Daddy Jun," died in 2014, while his Tito Hermie passed away in 2016.
Mark had previously shared in past interviews about having gay parents and how they raised him with care.
Mark recalled in his interview with Ogie Diaz, “Hindi man ako lumaki sa talagang buong pamilya like may nanay, may tatay, alam naman ng mga tao na I was raised by gay parents.
In his guest appearance on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda in February 2025, Mark revealed that he is still grieving the loss of his adoptive gay parents even years after their death.
He said, "Actually, parang feel ko, hindi ko siya nalampasan until now. Doon nabuo 'yung depression, anxiety.
So, parang tinatanong ko sila, 'Did I ever say thank you to you, guys?' Iyak ako, iyak ako. Kumbaga, hindi ko siya nalagpasan. Hindi ako nakakapagluksa nang maayos."
