Watch out for the return of 'Mars Pa More' this July 27 as everyone's favorite family-oriented talk show celebrates its first year anniversary.
Kapuso talk show Mars Pa More celebrates its first year anniversary on GMA this July. Along with the celebration, Mars Pa More will also be making its return on TV with all new episodes starting this July 27!
Mars Pa More hosts Camille Prats and Iya Villania, together with their program manager and writer, spent an evening with members of the press at an online conference to talk about their upcoming episodes.
According to Camille and Iya, they became their own cameramen, lighting directors, stylists, and more for their shoots as it is entirely done online. Although this new setup may pose as a challenge, the two hosts and their guests get to prioritize their own safety this way, especially since Iya is expected to give birth anytime soon.
"I have to say that I'm really coming to enjoy this whole new setup because parang we're all given an opportunity to see a different side of the artists because they all so have footage that [is] produced by themselves. Of course they get to take us into their own homes. They shoot it however they want to, they show us everything that they'd love to show us.
"I think if we were to shoot regularly, may mga kaunting restrictions because of course you have to let strangers into your own home. But ito, because it's just them, they can freely shoot and be totally comfortable with what they want to show us and ayun 'yung mga mapapanood n'yo sa mga fresh episodes namin," said Iya.
Camille adds that their new episodes will also show their celebrity guests in a new light as we get to see them in a more intimate and casual setting, "I think also what's exciting about it is that 'yung mga guests din natin sa Mars Pa More, you'll see them from a different perspective. Makikita mo sila, how they are at home. Ano ba 'yung mga kaniya-kaniyang skills and talents nila, some of them enjoy na enjoy magluto, 'yung iba naman mag-gardening. Some of them share their videos with their pets and their kids."
