Set to bring chaos into the 'Voltes V: Legacy' world are Martin del Rosario and Liezel Lopez!
No epic story would be complete without its antagonists, and who else can better bring chaos into the Voltes V: Legacy world than Prince Zardoz and his personal aide Zandra.
Playing Prince Zardoz, the half brother of the Armstrong brothers from their father's side, is none other than Kapuso actor Martin del Rosario.
Martin del Rosario is known for his superior acting chops, thanks to his wide range of roles since starting his showbiz career in 2007.
He has since then received many awards, including Breakthrough Performance by an Actor by the Entertainment Press Society in 2011, Best Supporting Actor at the Gawad Urian Awards in 2014, Best Actor in the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino in 2019, and Best Leading Male Digital Performance at the 24th Asian Television Awards in 2020.
The 28-year-old actor is no stranger to playing kontrabida roles as he played the role of Jared Marcelino in the 2019-2020 Kapuso Primetime series The Gift.
Starring alongside Martin is Kapuso actress Liezel Lopez as Zandra.
As many fans of Voltes V would know, Zandra acts not only as Prince Zardoz's aide but also his lover.
Despite her love not being reciprocated by Prince Zardoz, she remains loyal to him to the point that she will even take a bullet to save his life.
Liezel Lopez is a former contestant in the reality artista search StarStruck and has appeared in many Kapuso superhero shows, including Tsuperhero, Alyas Robinhood, and Super Ma'am.
Early this week, it was confirmed that Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, Matt Lozano, and Raphael Landicho will form the Voltes V team.
Their reveal was received with much excitement from fans both in the Philippines and abroad raising the hype of the live-action adaptation of the beloved Japanese anime.
