Martin Del Rosario in Tayo Lang ang Nakakaalam

Martin del Rosario will showcase his talent in his film for Cinemalaya 2026.

Kapuso actor Martin del Rosario is set to headline the upcoming queer film Tayo Lang Ang Nakakaalam, which has been officially selected as a competing entry in this year's Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival.

This highly anticipated project marks his grand return to the silver screen, where he will once again take on a queer role.

The project comes after his highly praised and remarkable performance in the GMA Afternoon Prime drama series House of Lies.

Giving fans a sneak peek into his latest endeavor, the Kapuso star recently took to Instagram Stories to share the film's official poster, highlighting his exciting new on-screen partnership with co-star Miguel Odron.

The release of the film's poster was also beautifully timed, dropping right in the middle of June to coincide with the annual celebration of Pride Month.

This intentional timing perfectly complements the movie's queer themes, creating an even bigger buzz among fans and advocates who are eager to see diverse stories represented on the big screen.

“Manifesting na lahat tayo may taong nagpapangiti sa atin nang ganito. Happy Pride Month from Tayo Lang Ang Nakakaalam,” the caption read.

Under the direction of David Corpuz, the film also includes veteran actors Yayo Aguila and Epy Quizon.

This project adds to Martin del Rosario's impressive portfolio of diverse portrayals, as he is no stranger to taking on complex queer roles.

Audiences will well remember his standout performances in hit comedy-dramas like The Panti Sisters and Born Beautiful.

The actor's career continues to ride a wave of momentum following his recent win as Best Actor at the CineSilip Film Festival for the movie Haplos sa Hangin.

This new Cinemalaya entry also serves as a full-circle moment for the talented Kapuso artist, who famously took home the Gawad Urian Best Supporting Actor award back in 2015 for his brilliant performance in the Cinemalaya film Dagitab.
