Martin Nievera at SMDC The Good Life expo

A star-powered roster leads the weekend at this year's biggest lifestyle-and-music gathering.

Music lovers of all ages are in for a rare treat this weekend as three generations of Filipino performers take turns owning the stage at the Good Life Expo 2025, happening from November 21 to 23 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.

The three-day event opened on Friday with none other than Concert King Martin Nievera, whose ballads defined a generation and continue to be staples in Filipino music culture. Expect nostalgia, big vocals, and a showman who knows exactly how to command a live audience.

Saturday shifted gears with a surge of Gen Z energy as DILAW, the Baguio-bred collective behind hits like “Uhaw,” brought their raw, indie-rock flavor to the expo. Known for electrifying live sets and a loyal youth following, the band, as expected, drew the biggest crowds of the weekend.

Capping off the festivities on Sunday is the much-loved alt-rock band Hale, set to deliver an emo-Millennial homecoming of sorts. Their anthemic tracks—many of which shaped the early 2000s OPM scene—are expected to turn the finale into a full-on sing-along.

While the event is organized by property developer SMDC, the expo itself feels more like a lifestyle-and-music festival than a real estate affair. Across the venue, visitors can wander through immersive lifestyle zones, snap photos at glam bots and themed installations, try out AR experiences that visualize future homes, and win limited-edition merchandise and SM gift certificates through games and challenges.

Each of the three lifestyle zones—Heights, Nature, and Symphony Homes—features its own interactive attraction, ranging from a VR sky-living setup to an eco-play park to fun family mini-games. Visitors who complete activities from all zones can fill up their Good Life Expo Passport and earn chances to win special prizes.

Adding to the festival feel, guests can enjoy free premium coffee, wellness juices, and ice cream throughout the weekend. Aside from the headliners, the event will also showcase a lineup of rising and guest performers including Solace Out the Door, David La Sol, YDen, and more. The Good Life Expo 2025 is open to the public. For updates and registration details, follow @TheOfficialSMDC on social media.
