Matteo Guidicelli

Matteo Guidicelli dismisses rumors on the SUV driver who rammed into his restaurant's al fresco area.

Actor-businessman Matteo Guidicelli took to social media once again to give updates on a recent accident that happened at his Italian restaurant.

It was remembered an SUV had crashed into the al fresco area of his Da Gianni Cucina Italiana last Sunday (February 8), causing two staff members to be rushed to the hospital for treatment.

In a recent Facebook post, Matteo gave netizens a glimpse of the restaurant's current situation and shared further details about the incident.

The celebrity said that as soon as he arrived at the scene, he checked the gearbox and found that the car was in park. He indicated that the driver had the presence of mind to park the vehicle.

He also revealed that he had already spoken to the driver.

"People would ask me online if she was drunk, if she was high or whatever," Matteo shared.

"No. She's a very innocent, beautiful lady that just panicked, blacked out, and pressed on the gas instead of the brakes."

Matteo then reminded everyone to stay alert, emphasizing that such mistakes can happen to anyone at any time.

"So I think the lesson here is always be aware. Watch your surroundings and be careful all the time because this can happen anywhere," he reminded.

In closing, Matteo reassured customers that business continues as usual, with the restaurant's interior dining area remaining open. He also shared that the accident area will be cleared before Valentine's Day.
