Filipino singer Matty Juniosa warns netizens on social media about a fake account impersonating him.
On his official page, the Britain's Got Talent Season 19 finalist shared screenshots of the Facebook page posing as him. The images included his reply to one of its posts, clarifying that it was not his account.
"Just letting you all know that there's a page pretending to be me and signing off on posts as if it's me. Hahahaha, please know that this is my only account, and I do have a page that's directly connected to my IG," he wrote in the captions.
Matty then asked for the public's help in spreading awareness and reporting the fake account.
" So if you could all help me get the word out in case the admin of that page does anything dodgy!! I appreciate the help in getting my name out there through that page, but it's just kinda weird that whoever's on that account is signing off and posting announcements as if they were me," he said.
"I know I was wishing for poser accounts when I was in high school coz that meant I was famous. But didn't realize it felt quite awkward seeing it happen irl"
The singer also shared his official social media handles for verification.
"My only social media accounts are @itsmemattyj or @mattyjuniosa, and all my pages that are by me or managed by my sister are fully named Matty Juniosa"
Matty Juniosa continues to soar in the global talent show Britain's Got Talent Season 19.
