Former Viva Hot Babes member Maui Taylor gave Your Honor a peek into the highs and lows of the life of a sexy star.
The Lolong actress dropped by the YouLOL Originals vodcast hosted by Chariz Solomon and Buboy Villar on Saturday night and explained the advantages and disadvantages of being a sexy actress.
“Mahirap magpa-sexy feeling ko kung wala sa nature mo 'yung pagiging sexy, kung wala sa kaloob-looban ng iyong katawan ang pagiging sexy, 'di ba. If not's in you kahit anong pagpapa-sexy gawin mo hindi siya lalabas na natural sa camera.
“Pangalawa, mabilis usually makilala ang mga nagpapa-sexy, alam na natin kung bakit. In that sense pinagpala,” Maui admitted to Your Honor.
Talking about the negative side of her career, she said, “Isinumpa kasi siyempre ang daming misconception about [sa] mga nagpapa-sexy. Not just me, pero 'yung generation namin, ang dami talaga.”
Chariz was candid to ask their resource person about her experience dealing with indecent proposals.
Without batting an eyelash, Maui said, “Ah! Naku madami 'yan. Madami, madami, hanggang ngayon ang dami.”
The Kapuso comedian interjected, “Magkano 'yung pinakamalaki? Wow! Nalula ako, shucks paano ko 'to tatanggihan?”
Maui Taylor told the House of Honorables, “Nasa millions din. Malaki sila mag-offer actually lalo na kung gustong-gusto ka nila. Meron isa, siguro a couple of months ago. Natawa na lang talaga ako e. Sabi sa akin nung parang common friend, sabi 'Sabi ni ano, name your price daw'.”
“Sabi ko, 'Sorry pass. sabi ko hard pass, sorry talaga!'”
“Basta kilala siya. So, sinearch ko pa. Sabi ko, 'Hello tigil-tigilan n'yo na ako'.”
Vice Chair Buboy pressed on, asking Maui: “Paano n'yo hina-handle 'pag meron indecent proposal?
The 43-year-old beauty simply said that you just have to say no to these people. She then recalled this guy who sent a direct message to her before her birthday last month.
“Before my birthday, birthday ko nung June 28. Someone said to me, 'Hi, Maui! I just want to ask if...' 'yun nga. Sabi ko, 'No!'
“Sabi niya, 'Oh! I'm so sorry.' Tapos nakita niya siguro fina-follow niya ako after a few days nakita niya 'yung post ko. 'Oh by the way, I'm sorry again and happy birthday.' Ganun lang big N-O.”
Chariz couldn't hide her disgust after hearing the story of Maui. “Yung para magtanong ka sa babae ng ganun noh. Babayaran mo 'yung puri niya. Hindi talaga puwede.”
