Former Eat Bulaga Dabarkad Maureen Christa Pojas Wroblewitz topped the video casting challenge of the Miss Universe Philippines 2021.
The organization announced on Saturday, August 21, that Maureen, also the 2017 winner of Asia's Next Top Model, bested 74 other candidates in the pageant's latest challenge.
The Miss Universe Philippines hopefuls wore minimal makeup in the said challenge and each shared what makes them happy.
In Maureen's video casting challenge, she was all smiles when she said, “My cats make me happy and ice cream.”
Aside from Maureen the other candidates who made it to the top five are Miss Globe 2019 second runner-up Leren Mae Bautista, runway challenge winner Steffi Rose Aberasturi, actress and headshot challenge winner Kirsten Danielle Delavin and Miss Supranational first runner-up Katrina Dimaranan.
Other ladies who made it to the top 15 are Rousanne Marie Bernos, Kamille Quiñola, Cheri Angel Anne Flejoles, Noelyn Rose Campos, Maria Corazon Abalos, Gianne Kryssee Asuncion, Mirjan Hipolito, Christelle Abello, Victoria Vincent, and Beatrice Gomez.
The Miss Universe Philippines will soon announce the top 50 hopefuls who will qualify for the next round. Eventually, there will only be 30 delegates vying for the crown during the coronation night.
