The onscreen couple and real-life sweet friends are making the world a little less lonely.
They dabbled into the sphere of fashion and beauty, graced magazine covers, and became the face of numerous brands. Now, Mavy Legaspi and Kyline Alcantara are exploring the digital world and launching their very own vodcast.
For quite some time now, the Sparkle artists have been teasing us with a comeback project and now it has been revealed that their working on “MavLine on Me” a video podcast that's both available in audio and video format on Spotify.
On Kyline's Instagram feed she shares, “For wallflowers, by wallflowers: make your world a little less lonely by diving into relatable topics, genuine thoughts, and honest conversations with MavLine On Me, a Spotify Exclusive vodcast hosted by Mavy Legaspi and Kyline Alcantara. Presented in a 'He said, She said' format, get to know the perfectly unperfect duo as they chitchat, explore, and debate on anything and everything under the sun.”
Named after their love team screen name “MavLine,” the new vodcast features Mavy and Kyline talking about timely topics that spark conversations and create different connections. In their first episode, the rumored couple explained the meaning behind the show's name.
Mavy explains, “'Yung MavLine on Me is just about leaning on someone else's shoulder. That's where MavLine on Me comes from, lean on me. So it's about leaning on someone's shoulder and also, us, Kyline and I, leaning on your very shoulders 'cause sometimes in life we always think that 'No, I need to be independent. No, I need to be this type of person in order to achieve certain things,' but sometimes, you actually have to be dependent and it's okay to be dependent. So we just thought about leaning on someone's shoulders and it's a very very big thing, an accomplishment, and a huge step in life.”
Currently, there are two episodes of the vodcast uploaded on Spotify. The first episode is a brief introduction of the two and the second one tackles the topic of compatibility in terms of astrology.
Kyline admits she feels nervous as they embark on this new journey but is at the same time excited to get to know herself, Mavy, and the people listening to her. Mavy reveals he is feeling the same thing and shares, “This is very new for both of us. But this is something we've wanted to do for a long time, individually and collectively. And this is really just us wanting to reach out to the people out there, to the viewers, to the listeners that want to know more about us and want to know more about life in a different perspective because life is all about perspective."
“What we really say about this podcast is really just perspective. We want to listen to what you guys have to say and respectfully, we want you listen to what we have to say because again it's all about perspective.”
