'Hating Kapatid' star Mavy Legaspi tells his mom, Carmina Villarroel: “You are the heart of our family, the soul of our home, and the greatest blessing I've ever known.”
Sparkle actor Mavy Legaspi expressed his love, gratitude, and appreciation to his mother, seasoned actress Carmina Villarroel, as she recently celebrated her 50th birthday.
In an Instagram post, the Hating Kapatid star shared photos of him with his mom through the years and honored her on her special day. In the caption, Mavy thanked his mom for her sacrifices and unconditional love.
“You are the heart of our family, the soul of our home, and the greatest blessing I've ever known. You are the hardest working, kindest & most loving person in this world.
“She is what we call 'HOME' and she is the glue that holds and keeps this family together. Her patience, understanding, guidance, and perseverance are just a few of many things that describe this wonderful human being. God fearing and a child of God,” he wrote.
The Sparkle actor and host added, “Cheers to 5 beautiful decades of success, tears, love, faith and dedication- the dedication to being the best actress and mother you could ever be. Cheers to you today and always. I'll love you forever, I'll love you for always. For as long as I'm living, my momma you'll be.”
In a separate post, Carmina shared stunning photos of herself from her birthday pictorial as she turned a year older.
“Half a century, but my heart still feels 20 and my soul 30. Forever grateful for life, love and everything in between. Cheers to more adventures ahead,” she wrote in the caption.
