Primetime actress Max Collins is so determined to fully embrace her role on the GMA Prime series The Master Cutter that she went to Palawan to do some immersion.
Max told 24 Oras that her character as an 'island girl' is close to her heart.
“My character is like an island girl, so I feel it's very close to home. Since island girl naman talaga ako, I lived in Boracay. I went to Palawan for a while to immerse,” the Sparkle actress shared.
She added, “Nag-immerse, pero palagi naman ako nasa beach so I guess para lang before nag-taping kami sa Bataan, I wanted to be in the beach na para mas natural na for me the feeling of tan that I could do grounding.”
This primetime series starring multi-awarded actor-host Dingdong Dantes will entice viewers because it has everything that viewers want.
“Lahat kami we all have a mixture of everything. Yes, there is a little bit of action, romance. There is comedy din. A lot of drama! So lahat kumpleto talaga for the whole family,” Max noted.
Joining Dingdong and Max on The Master Cutter is versatile actress Jo Berry, who will make a comeback on primetime. In 2019, she was part of Alden Richards' series The Gift.
Jo admitted during her chat with "Chika Minute" that her character this time on The Master Cutter is way different from her past roles.
“Sobrang layo po nito sa lahat ng nagawa ko and it's very physically challenging talaga sa akin kaya excited din ako, kasi ngayon ko pa lang nakikilala 'yung character ko as Ame dahil nga physical 'yung character ko.”
“Nakikita ko rin dito kung hanggang saan kaya ng katawan ko.”
