Sparkle actress Max Collins is looking forward to the next chapter of GMA Prime's hit family drama series 'The Master Cutter,' especially with Jennylyn Mercado joining the cast as the mysterious Olga.

The adventure, action, and family drama never stop for the high-rating GMA Prime series The Master Cutter.

And soon, the hit soap starring multi-awarded actor Dingdong Dantes will enter a new phase. Last week, viewers were introduced to a new character, Olga, played by Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado.

Sharing her thoughts on Jennylyn's addition to the cast, Max Collins told 24 Oras that she is excited to see Dingdong and Jen reunite on screen. The two were last seen together in the Philippine adaptation of the Korean drama series Descendants of the Sun.

“Nakakakilig silang dalawa ni Atoy [Dingdong Dantes]. Cute talaga sina Olga [Jennylyn Mercado] at Atoy together,” Max said.

But while Olga and Atoy's chemistry has already sparked kilig among viewers, Max teased that fans should stay tuned to find out whether Olga can be trusted.

“Kailangan abangan ng mga tao kung good ba si Olga or bad. Kung saan mapupunta 'yung puso niya at the end of the day.”

Max also hinted that the new phase of The Master Cutter will bring even more excitement to the series.

“Marami pong mangyayari sa family po namin and then kay Atoy din, so hindi ko alam kung ano 'yung puwede kong i-disclose. Pero siyempre, hoping pa rin tayo na mabubuo 'yung pamilya nina Atoy, Audrey, at ni Janine. Sino kaya, Janine o Ibyang? We don't know.”

But before returning to the set of The Master Cutter, Max took some time for herself as she celebrated her 34th birthday with a quick getaway to Palawan.

The Sparkle actress said her trip was a much-needed breather from her busy schedule.

“Masaya ako lagi 'pag nasa beach ako and buti na lang maganda 'yung weather. It was very sunny in Palawan and it was nice to take a few days off.”

“I think I was there for two days, two days lang naman to fresh bago mag-taping uli.”

With Olga's arrival and Kelvin Miranda's recent addition as Uno, The Master Cutter is clearly gearing up for more twists and surprises.
