Versatile TV and movie actress Max Collins has nothing but praise for her The Master Cutter co-stars Shuvee Etrata and Charlie Fleming, saying both actresses have become vital to the success of the hit primetime series.
Shuvee, who plays the Cebuana beauty Tonet, recently earned praise from viewers for her emotional confrontation with Ketchup Eusebio's character, Emerson, who portrays her brother.
Meanwhile, former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Charlie Fleming has also captured the attention of fans with her cool and endearing portrayal of the boyish Karla, the daughter of Manang Cita (Rio Locsin).
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Max said Shuvee and Charlie have played a huge role in making The Master Cutter resonate with audiences.
"Ang galing nila! To be honest, the show wouldn't be so successful if it wasn't for them."
"And their comedic timing, nakakakilig din 'yung mga eksena nila, 'di ba? So, ang galing nila, ang husay nila, and they are also such an integral part of the show."

Aside from dominating primetime television, The Master Cutter is now streaming across Southeast Asia on Netflix.
Max also admitted she eventually felt the pressure after learning that the series would represent the Philippines on an international platform.
"It happened—that feeling, the thought of being pressured—came in the middle of taping. Nung nag-start kami mag-taping, I didn't know that we would be on Netflix yet."
"When I found out we would be on Netflix and also streaming across Southeast Asia, that's when pumasok na 'yung pressure. Pero ang dami na naming nakuhang eksena before that came in, so I just let go of the pressure."
The actress explained that dwelling on external expectations would only make the work more difficult.
"Kasi, it's harder to work when you're constantly thinking of other people and how they will see the show. It helps to focus more on the character and the story itself."
