On the November 18 episode of Descendants of the Sun (The Philippine Adaptation), everybody heard Maxine's (Jennylyn Mercado) confession, even Lucas (Dingdong Dantes). When the latter confronted the doctor about it, she ran away.

Lucas looked for Maxine hiding in the bushes but it was Moira (Jasmine Curtis-Smith) who found her. Moira gave Maxine some love advice. She told her that there's nothing to be frightened about having a relationship with a military man.

Moira added that Maxine has to take advantage of the times she and Lucas are together. So that when he is away, the soldier knows he has someone to return to.

Meanwhile, Lt. Col. Defensor (Ricardo Cepeda) congratulated Maxine for a job well done. He commended her for saving Lucas when the earthquake occurred. He urged Lucas to date his daughter, much to Moira's dismay. She asked her father to just respect her relationship with Diego (Rocco Nacino) but Lt. Col. Defensor gets the gold coin and used it to his advantage. Moira didn't give in to her father's order just because of the gold coin he was holding.
