Lukas chooses Raquel over Cheryl, as he accepts Zul’s offer to have his wife treated. He unwillingly hurts Cheryl’s feelings, forcing her to go back to Malaysia. Zul is delighted, but his happiness is cut short as Cheryl refuses to take him back again.
Meanwhile, Lukas brings Raquel to a bigger hospital for her treatment. But Raquel feels she will not live longer and the treatment is futile. She becomes disappointed when she learns Cheryl has left the country. And soon after she gives Lukas her blessings for him to be with Cheryl, she passes away.
Aggrieved by Raquel’s death and Cheryl’s absence, Lukas decides to let time tell if he shall ever love again. Cheryl, likewise, becomes pessimistic about her fortune that says her true love can be found in a distant land.
