Maybelyn to Olivia: “We are all better because of you and strive each day to make you feel loved.”
Former '90s child star Maybelyn Dela Cruz is one proud momma to her beautiful daughter Mia Olivia, who turned five years old on Valentine's Day.
In a previous interview, Mommy Maybelyn shared that she got pregnant with Olivia through the process of in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
The former Home Along Da Riles actress took to Instagram to express how much her life changed for the better with her daughter's arrival.
She said “To my baboo, baba, #mylittlemissolivia, you remain to be mommy's favorite person. Your signature smile continues to delight everyone around you. Your daddy and I adore your big squeezes, fake laughs and cries, and watching your fiery resilience.
“You are fearless in your pursuits and love learning new things. We are all better because of you and strive each day to make you feel loved. To hope is to believe and trust. It is a privilege to watch you soar. Keep shining bright, my love. Happy birthday, miracle girl!”
Maybelyn also recalled the moment she first laid her eyes on her “little light” five years ago.
“5 years ago, our radiant little light, cute gymnast, sweet snuggler, tiny passion-filled dancer and singer spun into our world. Since day one, she melted our hearts with her deep brown eyes. They're filled with so much love, hope, and wonder for all people.”
She continued, “When I looked into them during those sleepless nights when she was still a baby, and when I look into them now during a global pandemic, she still reminds me that the sun will always rise. Happy birthday, #mylittlemissolivia, our very own moonbeam. May God's wonder and joy always dwell in your heart. What a beautiful thing it is to see you reflect the goodness of our one true King.”
Last November 2021, she returned to acting, after a decade via her guesting on 'Wish Ko Lang.'
