According to doctors, the Manila mayor is experiencing mild COVID-19 symptoms.
Manila mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso is in stable condition.
On Sunday, August 15, the Manila Public Information Office confirmed that the mayor tested positive for COVID-19.
“Nakakaramdam ako ng kaunting ubo, kauting sipon, masakit ang aking katawan ngayon ( I have minor cough, colds and body pains),” he said.
According to Dr. Grace Padilla, director of Sta. Ana Hospital, mayor Isko has been admitted to their hospital on Sunday night, August 15.

“Our honorable Mayor Francisco Domagoso was admitted last night August 15, 2021, here at Sta. Ana Hospital. He has mild coughs and body malaise as presenting symptoms. He has no fever,” Dr. Padilla said.

Mayor Isko Moreno is currently in stable condition and is being treated in the hospital.
Dr. Padilla added, “Presently, he is maintained on oral anti-biotics and vitamins as supplements. He is stable, comfortable and sleeping well”.
Moreno's test result comes a week after Manila vice mayor Honey Lacuna contracted the virus.
Dr. Padilla also updated the press about the condition of vice mayor Honey Lacuna. She saidd that the vice mayor is also on her way to recovery.
