Former Orange and Lemons vocalist Mcoy Fundales is the guest in the 26th episode of Behind The Song Podcast.
In this episode, Mcoy, along with composer Kian Dionisio, talked about the story behind his comeback single "Bakit Kita Hahabulin?"
According to Kian, he was already thinking about Mcoy when he wrote the song.
"Sinulat ko 'yung song sa isang song writing camp. After nu'ng camp, narinig ni Sir Kevin 'yung song itong "Bakit Kita Hahabulin?"
He continued, "Sabi n'ya, 'Pwede ba naming i-record 'yung song?' Sabi ko, 'Sir Kevin, okay lang naman sana kaso hindi ko ipapakanta sa iba 'yung song kung hindi rin naman sa gusto kong artist.' So, sabi niya, 'Sino ba 'yung gusto mong artist?' Sabi ko, 'Sir, sana 'yung sa Orange and Lemons, 'yung dating vocalist nila roon."
"Bakit Kita Hahabulin" was released in June 2019 under AltG Records.
The podcast will be available for streaming on Spotify on March 22, 5 p.m. and the full video will be released on March 24 on GMA Network's website and social media platforms.
