From competitive swimming to landing her first acting role, this 13-year-old newcomer is ready to showcase her talents.

The local entertainment industry has a fresh new face to watch out for, and she is already turning heads at just 13 years old.

Meet Yvonne Lexie, a student from Notre Dame of Greater Manila who is slowly but surely making a name for herself. While she might be a new name to many, Yvonne is far from your average teenager. She is a competitive swimmer, a fashion model, a budding beauty queen, and a dancer.

Now, she is adding "actress" to her growing resume. Driven by curiosity, Yvonne auditioned for and landed a role in the upcoming youth film Teen Journeys. Her natural charm and emotional depth on screen have already caught the attention of industry insiders.

In fact, she recently took home the Most Promising Young Actress trophy at the 2025 PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Talk about a major head start! Because of her early achievements, she is also set to be honored as one of the Philippines' Young Faces of Success this coming August.

Behind Yvonne's drive is her number one fan: her mother, Reynalyn Valencerina. Reynalyn believes in letting her daughter explore her passions while keeping her feet firmly on the ground.

"I support whatever she wants to do in life and in her career, as long as she's happy," her mother shared in Tagalog. "She loves trying new things and is naturally adventurous. I also want her to be exposed to charity work so she understands the importance of helping others."

This heart for service aligns perfectly with Yvonne's ultimate dream. Aside from conquering the acting world, the talented teen has her eyes set on the biggest crown of all.

"One day, I want to become the next Miss Universe, just like Catriona Gray," Yvonne said. "I admire her not only because she is beautiful, but because she uses her voice to inspire people, serve communities, and represent the Philippines with pride. I hope to do the same someday—to become a woman of purpose who can make a difference."
