It looks like Megan Fox will soon be Mrs. Baker as she and singer-rapper boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly just got engaged on January 11.

Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), whose real name is Colson Baker, proposed to the Transformers and Jennifer's Body star under the same banyan tree where they fell in love.

In an Instagram post, Megan shared the video of the actual moment MGK got down on his knees under their special banyan tree and asked her to marry him.

She captioned it: “In July of 2020, we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic.

“We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.

“Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.

“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.

“…and then we drank each other's blood

MGK, on the other hand, shared a video of Megan's hand wearing the gorgeous custom emerald and diamond engagement ring that he designed with Stephen Webster.

He captioned it: “'Yes, in this life and every life beneath the same branches we fell in love under, I brought her back to ask her to marry me.

“I know tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love. 1-11-2022”

Megan and MGK first met on the set of the movie Midnight in the Switchgrass, which began filming before the COVID-19 pandemic happened.

At the time, Megan was still married to Beverly Hills, 90210 star Brian Austin Green.

In May 2020, Brian announced that Megan and him have parted ways after being married for almost a decade.

Around the same time, MGK released his music video for his song called "Bloody Valentine," which starred Megan.

This is when rumors of Megan and MGK's relationship started swirling.

In July 2020, in their first interview together, Megan called MGK her “twin flame” and said they were “two halves of the same soul.”

MGK, on the other hand, confessed that while filming their movie Midnight in the Switchgrass he would wait outside his trailer, which was right next to hers, just to catch a glimpse of Megan and have eye contact with her.

“She would have to get out of her car,” MGK said. “There were like five steps between the car and the trailer. I would just sit there and hope.”

It obviously worked out for him, as Megan eventually invited him to have lunch in her trailer, where she went through his birth chart and confirmed, just as her gut was telling her, that his moon sign was Pisces.

Megan and her ex-husband Brian were married on June 24, 2010 and they have three children together. Their divorce was finalized on October 15, 2021.

MGK, on the other hand, has a daughter from a previous relationship.
