Kapuso couple Megan Young and Mikael Daez recently took a break from their parenting duties to enjoy some well-deserved quality time together.

On Instagram, the new celebrity mom shared heartwarming snaps from their first date night joined by a few family members and close friends.

"Mom and Dad's first date out!" Megan wrote. "We decided to celebrate our new chapter as parents by celebrating each other. We've been taking care of Leon day in and day out but we also need to keep nourishing and taking care of our bond as husband and wife."

The actress also expressed her joy at being able to reconnect with loved ones including Mikael's brother Sandro and his partner Bea.

"Thankful for the help that we got last night to watch Leon at home while we were out for a couple of hours!! So excited to bring him out of the house and to let him explore 'pag ready na," she added.

The couple's post quickly drew love and support from followers and celebrity friends, including Valeen Montenegro, Carla Abellana, and Lovi Poe.

Megan and Mikael tied the knot twice in January 2020. First in Nasugbu, Batangas on January 10, then in Subic on January 25.

Before 2024 came to a close, the couple surprised fans with the announcement of Megan's pregnancy. True to their style, they made another joyful surprise last May 28 when they revealed the arrival of their first child, Leon.

Since giving birth, Megan has been openly sharing her journey into motherhood, including personal moments and reflections on her childbirth experience.
