Happy Birthday, Kapuso Megan Young!
Kapuso beauty queen Megan Young received a wonderful surprise last night, February 26, after her husband Mikael Daez organized a wonderful birthday salubong to mark her 31st birthday.
What's more, she also got a birthday gift from Mikael's younger brother, Marco Alvaro.
Megan shared on Instagram, “Came home last night to a surprise! Fofo got the family together to have a little birthday salubong oh 'di ba si Fofo may pa surprise!! 🥰 Kilig si Tita Bonez eh!
“Si Alvaro may pa gift din!! Hehehe I don't expect gifts now that I'm older and because we really don't celebrate my birthday but this made me really happy and kilig!! ️ Cheers to 31!”
Her sister, Lauren Young, uploaded a video of Megan on Instagram Story to greet her, while actress Jessy Mendiola and influencer Camille Co also sent their birthday messages via Instagram.
First wedding anniversary
Last January, Megan and Mikael marked their first wedding anniversary. If you remember, they married twice in 2020--one ceremony was held in Caleruega in Nasugbu, Batangas, on January 10 and one in Subic, Zambales on January 25.
Megan revealed the reason why they decided to have two ceremonies.
She explained, "I bet you guys are wondering why we had two weddings. Initially, we were supposed to just have the January 25 [ceremony] but we wanted to do something a little more intimate and have a ceremony with just family.
"So last minute, we chose Caleruega and we chose to have it with family that could make it. It was really nice and intimate,"
